The Company was established in 1974 by Harry John Thomson (more amicably known by Swazis as “Sichovane”), and purchased in 1993 by his son, John Thomson, who is currently the owner and CEO of the Company.

A Mormond Electrical & Partners social responsibility
The Mormond STIX Charity MTB is one of our ways of giving back to the community. Together with our partners, we have been able to support over 1000 children and built 2 Carecentres as feeding areas for children living under the poverty line in the Elwandle, Gundvwini and Nhlambeni areas.
A Race in the woods,
The STIX is an annual MTB Race in Eswatini, Attended by over 300 Cyclists each year from in and outside the borders of Eswatini.
For the future,
Supporting Over 1000 Kids a year with food donations to carecentres in the Gundvwini, Nhlambeni and Elwandle areas.
